- Pregnancy KHÔNG contraindicated (khác với [[lavender-spanish]]) — camphor ở đây 10.8–23.2% thấp hơn Spanish (16.4–56.2%), và linalool 27.2–43.1% mang tính anticonvulsant mitigates camphor neurotoxicity (T&Y nhận xét explicit).
- Đây KHÔNG phải true lavender — L. latifolia là 1 trong 2 loài bố mẹ của lavandin; chemistry dominated by cineole + camphor, KHÔNG sweet-linalyl-acetate như [[lavender-true]].
- Hazards = may be mildly neurotoxic — vẫn là camphor concern nhưng ở mức thấp hơn Spanish; max oral 603 mg/day, max dermal 19% (rất rộng so với Spanish 250 mg / 8%).
- Non-phototoxic. Sensitization risk thấp (Rudzki 1/200 ở 2%).
- Quality concern: thường adulterated với Spanish sage + eucalyptus + lavandin + tail fractions (Kubeczka 2002) — nguồn supply đáng tin cậy quan trọng.
